The studio is a timber A-frame on a lush hillside above Kuta, South Lombok. A highly custom, personalized control room connects to an expansive, 10m high live room — open to the jungle on three sides.
A Nagra IV-S analog recorder, a Roland RE-201 Space Echo, and a rotating collection of vintage strings and local percussion. The neighbours are geckos and monkeys.
I take on a handful of projects a year. What you get is my full attention, in a room that opens onto the jungle on three sides — no assistants, no library cues, no template starting point.
Everything you hear is composed on the spot, to picture, and then produced, mixed and mastered in the same room — immersed in nature. Three days from greenlight to finalized stereo mix.
One frame at a time. Deep focus.
